La chaîne volontaire est née généralement du regroupement de magasins détaillants autour d'un grossiste tête de chaîne.
Cette technique, en réaction à d'autres formes d'expansion des entreprises, est peu utilisée pour de multiples raisons.
Un avenir existe-t-il pour cette forme de développement des entreprises ?
Comme dans d'autres formes de partenariat ou de réseau, il s'agit, essentiellement pour les acteurs de la chaîne volontaire, d'identifier leurs activités auprès de leur clientèle au travers d'une marque. Les obligations contractuelles sont en général peu contraignantes.
Si cette forme d'"association" est mise en oeuvre dans le commerce, on peut aussi admettre son emploi dans le domaine de la prestation de services (hôtellerie par exemple) ou dans la production.

Le groupement ou la chaîne volontaire est une technique de réseau qui n'est pas autant utilisée que d'autres méthodes d'association.
Néanmoins, la chaîne volontaire permet des réussites commerciales insoupçonnées.

ADHÉRENT

L'adhérent à la chaîne volontaire

  • bénéficie de la synergie du groupe,
  • profite économiquement des services qu'il a décidé d'externaliser.

Les obligations contractuelles sont en général moins contraignantes que dans les autres formes d'association.
